I Am I

If I had known I was gonna live this long I'd have taken better care of myself.  Well, I seem to be in better shape than most of the people I went to high school with.  Not that I want others to be in worse shape than me, or bad shape.
Allow me to introduce myself.  My name is David R. Porter.  I wad born in 19........uh, well, I'm probably, OK, am old enough to be the father of some of you.  I was born before cell phones became viable or accessible to the common man (they were pretty much field radios) and ipods were called personal cassette players then (or the Walkman). I had to learn to read and write and use English in school, and when I was a teenager computer technology was generally called data processing.
During the first part of my life, cars did not have computers in them.  Then after awhile a circuit or two was added, to simplify and complicate things at one and the same time and that is called a paradox, yea verily.  My generation witnessed the death of an Age.
I live in the small town of Chapmanville, a very quaint little place.  I work as a data collection agent for a marketing company called Crossmark, and I drive a Suzuki Kazashi.  I have one daughter, married, with one son.
I have found my way back into college through much effort of my own, much help from others, and at this place in time I am happy, and at peace with myself, thank the creator.

Hey, hey, I know we all have things we have to do, like assignments, but at least some of the time we get to have fun.  To me, most things IT are fun.  Does that make me a nerd? Maybe.  I don't care.
So, we were supposed to do some add-ons reviews for Chrome.  Unbelievable what's out there.  Just about anything you can think of to do just about anything you can think of.
My buddy Scotty wrote up some stuff about a couple and we swapped out.  Here's what he has to say.
